Cant beat yourself up over that. I sold all my CVE between 15 and 16 a share (its a PnL statement not my current holdings). still made money but missed that fat rip all the way up to 30. Cant beat yourself up over missing that, people were expecting 80 dollar brent to be the ceiling for almost a year and then in like one week it blew up all the way to 120. nobody could have seen it coming. it was fun as fuck to swing trade in that 20-25 range though, kek.

i have never actually learned how to properly use any indicators or chart TA, the only thing i ever take seriously is my risk (and reward) management. Obviously ill try to find entries that i like but ive never focussed on buying bottoms or selling tops, what i'll generally do is try to watch forex contracts for things like lumber, iron and oil and try to extrapolate what those moves might mean for certain tickers on short timeframes and dip in and out quickly. That doesnt mean you shouldnt try to learn TA, its just not something ive ever been good at. Almost evert trade ive made ive sold "early" if you look at the overall chart, but the smallest gain is still better than any loss.
