I had a good run bw 2008 and 2012 touring the world and selling a decent amount of records (few hundred thousand) but still never actually made money because this was when the industry still hadn't figured out how it was monetizing.

My music then honestly wasn't great but obviously enough to get me places.

I have realized over the years the reason I never got more opportunities than what I had was because I was awful at networking, being a fucking depressed antisocial and all.

10 years later I am a very good networker but I don't have the same opportunities to network.

I also have a handful of songs I think are extremely good, at least compared to everything I hear getting tons of play on Spotify playlists.

The game now is obviously all about playlisting. I don't know anyone in the industry anymore.

How do I go about making contacts for playlist adds? Are there any easier routes than networking like services which actually work?

Let's just assume my music is better than 99% of stuff out there, even if you don't believe me.
