its basically a handicapped ETF/inverse EFT juggling act, where you wont make as much as a pure juggling act in a sideways market, but you will make more if market is slowly moving in the right direction (up in DIA's example)

its safer long term, but less potential profits, and just like everything else, it does not work 100% of the time
