there are some problems i foresee with the keyword rev share and pay with bat. again i hope it moons because i still hold some, these are just obvious issues

first of all, even if they do go forward with the keyword rev share it probably wont come out for years. we know how slow they are to roll shit out, and with something like this i can see it taking ages. the big problem with it beyond them just making it in the first place, is that eich said they wont be available as NFT's that you can freely trade on markets because of muh regulations. he said they are going to be sold as securities, probably through some type of bat market place, and you will be locked into that keyword for a year before you can sell it. who knows how much they will cost or what type of rewards it will pay out, but most people dont want their money stuck in something that they cant sell. plus they will have to KYC for it and they will be sold through a centralized market place through brave, which people generally dont like doing in crypto

as far as pay with bat, this would have been great if they still had vbat. then you could earn bat and spend it on shit without KYC. however, since they are getting rid of vbat, now its only available to people that already have registered with an exchange and had the bat transferred to their accounts and have already essentially "cashed out". what incentive would people have to spend the money on a handful of shitty brave products when they already have the money available that they can trade for other tokens or sell for USD and spend directly on literally anything? i mean lets face it, braves products suck. brave talk sucks, nobody wants to pay a monthly subscription fee to not see ads on a search engine, and their VPN is overpriced and it sucks.

yeah publisher ads is a feature where they place ads onto the actual websites (not the pop up notifications like they have now). so if you own a website for example, you can sign up for publisher ads and brave will place ads on your website and you will get a portion of the profits, the user will get a portion for viewing the ads (the ones that opt in) and brave will take a cut off the top as well.

self service is so that people that buy advertisement campaigns on brave can do it without actually talking to part of the sales team and spending a minimum amount ($2500 is the min right now and they reject a lot of advertisers) with self serve it will be all automatic. there is supposedly a waitlist of like 20k advertisers waiting to use it

the last scenario would be if bat explodes and actually does end up going viral and has a LINK tier pump. then all bets are off. i wont even post numbers for this case because they are retarded. but just remember that XRP pumped to 150b cap in the last bull run with a 20k btc. a 150b cap BAT would be $100 each.

and again these numbers are predicated on btc going on a run and dont really take any BAT fundamentals into account or anything. just the crypto market as a whole. and these are PEAK prices that wouldnt sustain and would be at the very top of another bubble market, after which the price of bat would probably get cut down by 75% or more. theres always opportunity cost though if bat doesnt beat the broader market then you can still make money but have missed out (see LINK).

anyways those are my best guesses. im leaning more toward scenario #3 than anything else but none of the 4 would really surprise me
