Why do people decide to just offer opinions on shit they know nothing about? They weren't "likely" aristocrats you dumbfuck. The USSR made chess classes mandatory in elementary school as a way to filter out gifted children; it literally didn't matter your background. Having the best chess players in the world was soviet propaganda to convince the world that communism produced more intellectuals than capitalism.

No. This first drop was a healthy correction and the smart money getting out. This next drop will be the real one. So many boomers are over leveraged into the market and many stocks still have lofty marketcaps when they start pulling money out of the market for retirement equities will be bleeding for about a whole decade. Why can normies not understand this? I've tried explaining this to people I seriously believed were intelligent and they refuse to believe that more people will be selling stocks to sustain themselves in retirement than there will be to buy them, let alone buy higher.
