I did admit that I am not the best when it comes to options and have not had the time to actually read up on them. But I have listened to what Tomas Peterffy and Gabriel Plotkin said. When I said execute, I meant expired. Most of the price action we did see on January 27th to 28th was driven by options trading, not the squeeze. And this was taking out of the mouth of Mr. Melvin himself. Once we get into the squeeze territory as Tomas Peterffy explained, if the shorts could not cover, the shorts have to default and the brokers must cover, driving the price to the thousands. I did not misquote his evaluation, he did not misspeak when he said thousands.
I may not know exactly what I am talking about, but I do understand the mechanisms which is driving the price up. If you don't want to sit through hours of the congressional hearing and trying to find this information, here, you can review it yourself and come to your own conclusions. I never got into making webms and I want to go to bed. https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/lsbv5w/repost_but_you_might_want_to_watch_this_again/
