How the fuck is it possible that people researched hundreds of hours yet they missed the most obvious fucking shit like the fact that Melvin doesn't have to cover all their shorts at once, and that they don't have to buy all our shares at all?

Like seriously, how did nobody know about this/point this out until everyone got fucked?
Like, i'm pretty sure the first time i saw a "shorts don't expire!" thread on WSB was last thursday, after everything got fucked by RH.

It should've literally been the first realization of all these people. "Oh, they can actually cover over a long period of time and prevent the stock from going up" etc.
