funny coincidence: i was idly clicking around a Vietnamese news website after coming across a coronavirus-related article in another thread when I found this article:

I finished reading it and swore the writer's voice sounded familiar for some reason so I looked at their name and it was written by my fucking ex! Talk about a small world. I was the one who edited her first articles in english 9-10 years ago when we were writing at the same magazine. She went by Francis back then. I knew she got married and moved to Hanoi. Glad to see she's getting work!

Sorry for blogposting, it was just too funny. The universe is too funny. What are the odds.
