Both are decent-ish, Gold if you want long term growth, Silver if you want to short the coming collapse.

It is, but PM's are generally cheaper and thus more accessable. An ounce of silver is ~$15, an ounce of gold is ~$1700, a house is $50,000-$150,000 depending on area. Plus, Gold/Silver isn't affected by what's on top of it, and doesn't take months to years to sell if you need liquid cash asap.
Different commodities for different needs and savings plans. Property is important, but until then, PM's more than fill the vaccuum.

In all honesty, it's a decent price for the time if it's legit. I'd say a 'good' price for Silver right now is ~£22/oz in coinage or £20/oz in bar/plate.

Probably just a Slowpoke, I'd give the same advice if bonds weren't depreciating currently because of the whole 'major economic collapse' thing going on. They're still a somewhat decent investment, just far from optimal, they're still above most cryptos.
