Funny enough, I came during the Shemitah flash crash of 2015 from /pol/. I used to post in of all of the Gold & "End the fed" threads before /pol/ became spammed to death by slide threads. When I came to /biz/ in 2015 I just meme'd everything and never truly learned anything about trading or investing. I wish i payed attention more, and studied / learned while the catalog looked like this https://archive.fo/vtaiO before it became pajeet central in 2017. Since I thought fiat currencies were gonna collapse every year due to central banking hyperinflation, bitcoin aligned perfectly with everything I had believed. I became a full BTC maxi for 2 years riding it the whole way up. Then the euphoria & greed took over and i FOMO'd into alts and pretty much lost everything. I just wish i had been older when I discovered /biz/. I stopped paying attention to crypto in 2018 once my alts hit rock bottom. /pol/ gave me all the right philosophies about economics to understand btc (when the quality of posts were much higher). Seeing people like Michael Saylor talk about bitcoin being a store of value in 2021 and being a better version of gold is like i am living in a dream. Although I am probably never gonna make it (I don't deserve to because of my low IQ) seeing bitcoin get to this mainstream is euphoric even though i barely have any. Ever year it goes 100x my expectation from being just a internet meme currency talked about on small forums to marketcap of $0.6T. I forgot where my blogpost was going because the xanax is starting to kick in and I can barely type, but /pol/ and /biz/ have the most crossover out of any board, at least when /pol/ was ron paul era.
