Hi redddit Need Business advice here.

Finally got my first real offer letter from a reputable company in NYC. Im relieved and excited but the only problem is the pay. It is an entry-level law firm job and it's only 35k/yr. (yearly salary) It has benefits and stuff but the commute to the city will greatly hinder my income(whenever that will be)

I am torn on what to do. It is WFH until further notice, and i plan to commute to NYC to save money. That pay is brutal though. Cant be picky i guess.

GF is a finance major gets comfy 9-5 job before she even graduates 75k/yr
I am a Law major, psych and ethics minor, which makes me want to keep looking, but 2021 grads are creeping up and the job market is a complete ruse .

Should i take this job? I do not have any current income but feel like i could do better.
Also be smarter about your degrees anons. Im thinking i need to take it.

TLDR: 35k/yr worth it for experience/ job in NYC

Does anyone here work for the insurance companies?
I was reading about having to wait 2 years for the clause to expire.

Been living at home for over 3 years now (24) and it’s killing me. I have around $30k with no debt but I’m a doomer and recovering coomer with no real job, only side hustles. I’m scared to use the money b/c I’ll need it for business and I’m not even sure if I want to commit to living around here for another year. I’ve basically spent 2 years paralyzed by this. Is it worth moving?
