In a low wage economy a farmer can employ 100 immigrants to plow his field and pick his crops and he is happy

In a high wage economy the farmer invests in a tractor so he can pay 1 immigrant to plow his field and 10 immigrants to pick his crops and the 89 other immigrants can get jobs in other parts of the economy and society will be richer for it

Didn't read the thread
AMERICAN society is collapsing
Rest of the world is doing fine

America will be ok only if they return to tradition and rejoin the Commonwealth and become a parliamentary system.

Why isn’t McDonald’s fully automated yet? Like I can talk to my phone and it understands what I say why can’t they just do orders at the drive through with that and a touch screen option at the front?

Why don’t they just have a dish washer instead of some cuck washing dishes for 12 hours? They could at least do it with just managers and cooks

This is not a drill. I had no clue that this was going on until I read up on it. You don't hear anything about this in Anglo media.

The big russian banking conglomerates are trying to destroy each other. Everyone is afraid of technological disruption, to they're trying to become the disruptors themselves.

https://www.fintechfutures.com/2021/01/vtb-deputy-chairman-discloses-exasperation-over-yandex-sber-and-tinkoff-competition/

For the VTB bank deputy chairman, these challenges are 'nightmares'

Everyone wants to create an ecosystem integrating search engines, banking, grocery delivery, whatever. Sberbank is dropping the 'bank' label altogether and wants to make 30% non-financial revenue in 3 years. Yandex, the google of Russia, will probably end up creating its own bank. Tinkoff has an ecosystem. VTB is terrified and rushing for an ecosystem.

Guys I think this is the real deal and all these companies (accept Yandex) are valued at 15 p/e bargain bin levels. Sber promises 17% a year ROE and is throwing billions and billions at buying everything in sight. Russians aren't clowns, they can do tech. Hell Sber has its own blockchain platform now (can't say how good it is though). If /biz/raelis figure out how to play this, the gains (even by FOMO) will be huge

Can someone help out this newfag? I tried to swap some coins on uni swap last night, but it's stuck on 'transaction pending' since then. In Metamask activity a terrifying '-1000' dollars appeared without actually influencing the amount of ethereum in my wallet.

I'm freaking out, did I just indebt myself or is that just noise? I can't cancel it: no gas. I can't speed it up: no gas. It's a real nightmare. I can't even find out if it is possible to indebt yourself on the blockchain.

This is largely true in spirit, nevertheless Melvin lost 75% of it's value and the CEO and founder's wife is divorcing him.

Thats a pretty material blow and absolutely does put the fear into these cockroaches.

Many maymay answers here. I have 1k barrels because it's a massive pain in the ass moving money online to buy more and the price keeps doing random pumps to a dollar and then dumps everytime BTC dumps.

Ultimately if you consider that the real world physical application of iexec makes it unique (it is arguably the only project besides btc with a "real world" application, btc being a hedge against inflation and RLC being cloudless computing for major corporations like Nvidia) then you must understand the 3 trillion dollar MCAP of cloud computing by 2030.

Realistically people say "it's shit because it's not adopted" but the problem is that cloud computing's marketcap right now is something small, like 400 billion and was even smaller 4 years ago when RLC was about to launch. Understanding that RLC is very much a "future tech" which has been Gilles' autistic concept for since the 1990s, existing purely in theoretical mathematics, is understanding that like all future techs there is the risk no one will fucking get it until much later on.

The biggest thing is that Iexec appears to be putting all the pieces in places to actually achieve adoption, but the question is how quickly this will occur- MCAP in the longterm indicates a slow but ultimately massive price point (muh 11549 by 2025 number) but in the short term the tying up of RLC in eRLC (removing it from circulation) and the lack of listing on exchanges means that when it is finally listed, the sudden supply shock could skyrocket it.

It is, ultimately, a bet on how quickly you think it will be adopted and hit 100 dollars (the point at which you roughly /make it/) and then how willing you are to continue hodling for another 5-10 years into the tens of thousands.
