I finally managed to get a remote job but I am currently in Holiday vacation in the Bahamas, and I don't want to return before January 10th.

I heard from a friend sometimes remote companies require you to do fingerprinting or driving to places far away to have a picture taken.

How is the onboarding for remote roles usually done /biz/? What was your experience? I can provide them with a scan of all my documents and my SSN, but I don't want to break my trip just for some silly fingerprints or photo.

It all depends on your interpretation and how you use your MBTI to your advantage OP. It can help explain certain things about yourself you were unaware of, or didn't know how to explain yourself, but it can also help you view the world through a different lens, which can be very positive if you use it wisely.

I made a personal life choice/change probably around 3 years ago. I made the choice that I'd be happier keeping my dignity and freedom, instead of coveting material wealth. I'm not saying I'm some Taoist Monk, or anything like that, but I did reorient my life to appreciate nature, spirituality, freedom and simple hobbies a lot more than partying, owning a big house, owning a Mercedes, etc. I really don't care about that stuff. Which is kind of ironic, because I love studying finance and economics. I made the mental decision that I would live in a van before getting the "vax". There is definitely a stress relieving aspect to not fearing every little thing affecting your wealth.

I do worry about kids though. I would like kids someday. I just hope I'm able to raise them right. As long as they make rational decisions based on what they truly believe is right for them and it dignifies/fulfills them, then I'll be happy.

I like gold more than silver. I like 99.9%+ purity more than fractional. I like rounds/coins more than bars. Most /pmg/ Anons tend to be the opposite though.

At the end of the day, you should just buy whatever you find the most intriguing, or useful.

Selling is easy. You can go to any local pawnshop and even some jewelry stores. Some online stores like JM Bullion will buy from you too.

Generally you just gotta ask around. My dad had some generic silver rounds he brought to our local pawnshop and they gave him spot. My local pawnshop doesn't care if you have a bar, round, or coin. They don't pay premiums. They just pay spot. So, if you're someone that buys generic rounds, that's a positive, but if you're someone that buys government coins with higher premiums, it could be seen as a negative.

You're making the right life decisions though Anon. Try to buy investments, not just basic consumer goods. I'll take a $600 gold coin, over a $600 Gucci belt any day.

Women don't care about your wealth until they plan on marrying you, or having kids. Not once in my entire dating life has a woman asked me how much money I make on a date.

Initial impressions are all about your looks, your confidence, your personality and your hobbies.

It's mostly Treasury bonds owed to Americans. The remaining majority is owed to Japan, China and Western Europeans.

The FED doesn't buy Treasuries directly from the US Treasury, it's illegal. The US Treasury will issue bonds, commercial banks (or non-bank financial institutions) will buy those bonds (remember, commercial banks are the major reason for inflation, they're the ones that create the credit in the first place) and then the FED will buy those bonds from the banks, or non-bank financial institutions. Depending on who they buy those bonds from makes a huge difference over how M2 is effected.

>>53026660

You cannot deny reality. Life is predicated on working and fighting against nature. No matter what system you live under, you are a "slave". Either you work for yourself and keep the fruits of your labor, or you work for other people and they take the fruits of your labor.
