I have no energy no matter how much I sleep, I stare at a screen all day, I don’t give one fuck about anything I’m doing. It’s awful, I fucking hate work with a passion. Nothing I do there is generalizable to other areas of life, I look things up in tables and change measurements on drawings and send emails and change things around in databases. It’s soul sucking, I don’t see how any human being can take working 40+ hours a week. I am wasting my fucking life.

You really are completely fucked in the head of you exist as a modern day wageslave and you aren’t depressed. Work is complete fucking hell, I work as an “engineer” meaning I sit in an open office with people twice my age, nobody speaks and there’s 80s music humming in the background. Everyone only communicates through poorly written emails, I can’t even tell what the fuck is trying to be communicated through them because they’re misspelled gibberish or they’re replies embedded within replies and I can’t fucking read any of it.

I sit there for 9+ hours a day staring at a computer screen filling in values on spreadsheets or rotating Solidworks models. I often become homicidally angry at all the fucktard adults that told me I can’t “waste my potential and my brains” and I needed to pursue something like medicine or engineering. I really resent them for lying to me, for making me believe that living up to my potential meant working in some soulless office for 47 hours a week and spending each hour outside of the office dreading going back.

I feel like I’m in hell most days, the clock doesn’t seem to move. I think back to when I worked in a factory and had to move around all day and complete tasks, how much more I enjoyed life and being alive. I worked with people who weren’t total fucking faggots, I slept well after a day of work.

There’s no one my age to talk to. There’s no women anywhere, I live in a rural shithole. The only thing that gives me hope in life right now is that someday I might not have to do this job anymore, but I realize that all jobs are probably like this, there are no good jobs. My life feels like a sea of gray, I have zero clue how to escape this hellish existence. If I leave for a job I enjoy that involves being on my feet and being around non fat faced faggots, I will suffer a huge paycut and likely be ostracized by family and friends. I must be in hell, there’s no way anyone can enjoy life in this world.
