Good point, online advertising is a massive fraudulent industry that has been scamming billions of USD for at least a few years. Never going to be easy to topple a dirty industry like that.

Considering all the pajeets/third worlders involved in crypto and the fraudulent online advertising industry (and the Google/big tech fangirls), you can pretty much connect the dots as to why Brave and BAT get so much hate in the crypto world. The deck is certainly stacked against Brave + BAT which makes it all the more exciting as an underdog story.

with bitcoin pumping, ETH pumping, LINK pumping, and little-dick BAT fizzling out into a downward crab, I think we're seeing a sign of what's to come. It's unpumpable and never follows the big-boy pumps, it has a fake-out pump like twice a year at random times where you think it's going to finally break out, then it doesn't.

Brave team seems to have given up on BAT in terms of utility/implementing it into the browser. It's like BAT has already been deemed a failure. They've separated into Brave team and BAT teams. Brendan is more focused on the browser and LARPing about COVID-19, he barely gives a shit about BAT. Just tags Luke Mulks in anything BAT related.

Begs the question - did the Brave team really ever have a thought out gameplan for BAT?

It will probably keep this perception until it can develop some real utility online. BAT from Ads is neat but it probably could have been done with some other shitcoin. Give Brave users some bigger incentive to use BAT on the browser. BAT needs to be fully integrated into the browser in a more useful way. I'm talking paywalls, micropayments, etc. That shit is Web 3.0 and would put Brave on an entirely different PLANE than Chrome or Firefox. Give BAT some reason to be worth something to Brave users and cryptocurrency speculators, and the price will skyrocket from speculation.

BAT almost always regresses/bounces between certain prices before making moves upwards or downwards.

For a while we were looking at 13¢ lows, then 18¢ lows. Now it's looking like 20-21¢ lows before a move up or down (depending on which line is broken). Personally I think looking at YTD charts is the most helpful right now to put things into perspective. Studying the 2019 charts is also perspective to see how this token's price moves.

The whole point of Brave is BAT. Lots of low-IQ individuals hopped on board the "Brave, not BAT" train early on but even the dumbest are slowly realizing that the BAT/cryptocurrency on-boarding aspect is what separates the Brave browser from the rest of them.

Browsers without integrated crypto will be looking like Internet Explorer in a decade's time (or less). Imagine how much crypto can change your browsing experience. Let you imagination run wild. One click to buy an article, a video game, a movie, music, clothes, etc. within your browser. Getting paid within your browser to run a TOR node. Getting paid to create a YouTube video. Getting paid to post on 4chan. All within your browser.

The future of online content/online browsing is a free marketplace where you're getting paid / spending virtual internet currency for content. It's literally capitalizing on the internet. It's fucking massive.
