If by in the 3rd line "the price" means the underlying stock, no you don't lose it all, the value of the option will simply change according to its Greeks. And in terms of "losing it all" all you (generally) have to lose is the premium you paid for the contract, as a contract that expires out of the money (OTM) will just kinda *poof* But even this is just my basic understanding of it, you're probably better off going to youtube or something to learn more than from us retards here
