OP, you have to start looking at morning breakfast programme and TV magazine profiles of female authors and start finding what the common 'hooks' are. I recommend crafting a 'story behind the story' about one of your wife's student's which will appeal to the fretful mothers I mentioned. It's the same formula behind every single self-help author

Think about from the perspective of your target market - which is primarily mothers who aren't already involved in music - how this sells hope for them.
Although even that's wrong, if you want PR your market then is TV producers: you need to sell them a 5 minute story which will keep their audience watching through 5 minutes of advertising for Peletons and Procter and Gamble products.
