I see but what if the contracts are not fullfilable ?
They have like > 100% of the stock shorted, but even then, imagine if they had "only" shorted 80% of the stock and had to cover for them, how do they even buy the shares that are not for sale?

Not every shareholder is a broker that is willing to just sell stuff, you have all the little investors that own the stock and are not aware of it, that just won't put their share on the market because they are not even aware of this

Also can they just demand to sell the share at lika 1M dollar ? probably not

I just don't want to end up getting fucked on friday by this
