Opera GX just literally destroyed Brave in 24 hours. Earning tens of thousands of followers, downloads, retweets, going viral overnight capturing new users from multiple demographics. Proof of how even the smallest amount of marketing can skyrocket engagement (nobody talks or cares about Brave). Embracing a few normie tier memes is enough to catapult them into a league of their own.

Even Edge is getting in on it, embracing the memes, the banter, being "edgy", and is easily beating Brave (dead on every platform) in engagement. Brave Search API tweet is pinned for 3 days and has 700 likes and 20 comments. Opera is currently giving away some $3 PC game codes they forgot in a basement over the years and its better than anything Brave has done for its users since inception.

Brave needs to adpat or its over. Hire someone to handle your Social Media. The competition has buried these old, irrelevant, marketing retarded boomers too busy tweeting about coof vaccines. This is what happens when you sit on a multiple year lead. We can't even get MAU/DAU updates on time, while we're getting meme'd on. I plan on bringing this up in an upcoming Brave Talk. Would love some support on this.

You guys really wanted to hear something fucked up with BAT look at what they are doing for ads on their search engine

The "ad blocking browser" is adding ads on brave search and forcing people to see them or pay a monthly fee of $4 to block the ads. They are also putting BAT rewards on it too so you can get paid BAT to see the ads on it, but the opt-in rates for their BAT rewards program is already extremely low and will drop much further with them requiring KYC.

The worst part for BAT holders is that Brave gets paid 100% of the ad revenue when they show a user an ad that doesn't have rewards enabled. When they show a BAT user the same ad, they only keep 70% and 30% of the revenue goes to rewards users. What this means is that Brave will be incentivized to NOT market BAT rewards to it's users, and will actually be better off steering them away from it or at the very least not mentioning it at all or advertising if in any way. The last hope for BAT bagholders was that the search ads would increase the buys for the rewards program but it appears that this is obviously not going to happen.

They've been doing this fucking shit since the coin ICO'd. The original ads release, the Coinbase listing, the search engine release. Every fucking time anything is coming out it starts pumping beforehand because these pieces of shit sit there and buy it before anyone else knows.

Look if they are going to do this NFT BAT search rewards marketplace then obviously that's incredibly fucking bullish. Dare I say the most bullish thing that has ever happened for BAT. Ever. It's like how the only reason MANA mooned is because there's a secondary marketplace for it where the land plots in the game are traded. This is what BAT would have, except people would actually want it.

Look. If you've been holding BAT these past years, it sucks. I get it. The MAU is stagnant and everybody knows it. At first is was denial. Maybe the growth has tapered because it's Summer, bear market, etc etc. Nobody is fighting the tide anymore and they've all thrown their hands up and asked for suggestions. It's obvious, it's always been obvious. The next play is not to focus on browser growth numbers - it's to focus on BAT. People see BAT moon, they get hyped about the coin, buy in, recommend to their friends, yadda yadda. It's what I've been fucking trying my damnedest to get them to understand you have to believe that. Now they see the light. back in college i had a gf who i simped for hard, when she broke up with me she went out of her way to wreck my friend group. a few of them still talk but it was split in half, one half only stays in contact to try to make fun of me even though all of their lives are equally or more pathetic than mine, the other I stayed friends with. i had a few relationships, jobs, moved away from my shitty family since her but never really got over the damage. shed tease me with spotify playlists (i know how pathetic that sounds). in late 2018 i really got into /biz/ and really liked the idea of BAT, went all in with around $20k, mostly from holding litecoin during the 2017 bullrun. spent 2019 shit posting but started losing it when it broke btc support and completely missed link until it was $2. ive made some good gains but I would have been a millionaire had I chose link instead. i was really pissed and started sharing details about my life on /biz/, by early 2020 people had figured out who I was, pretty sure people who knew my cousin who I had stayed a few months with. i was making empty threats against her when i deduced from spotify that she had fallen pregnant with her bf, now husband. they contacted her and introduced her to /biz/ and gave her tips on what was going to moon to make her rich through discord channels that i had never joined because i was just shit posting, not realizing the alpha tips were being handed out there. mid 2020 over at /adv/ she admitted to all the times she had cheated on me and i absolutely lost my mind and started making slightly less empty threats. now were here.

she ended up helping with Flow protocol, if you had ever seen a "Fuck you." thread, those were directed at me after i started making empty threats against the link marines in those channels that gave her the alpha tips. i haven't said enough to get me arrested but they tried and are still trying to bait me into saying something that would.
