Also why is it so satisfying to watch XRP crash in the middle of a bull market? Does anyone honestly think that buying the same token that mostly just niggers and low information normies buy is going to make them rich? If you ask anyone who is balls deep in XRP what the purpose of the XRP token actually is, they won't be able to explain it to you. I still have not heard any explanation of it deeper than "the banks like it" and / or "it's cheaper than BTC so I can buy more of them"

Killing Ethereum is not going to be a likely thing for any existing project. The only thing they have going for themselves is that there are way less users of the network to clog and fuck them up in various ways.

The Ethereum team aren't cutting corners like EOS (21 block producers) to get things done, they are taking their time to actually solve the scalability problem while remaining as decentralized as possible. Everything else trying to compete with Ethereum is also disadvantaged by being later on the scene. The same reason why Bitcoin will always be more sought after than Bitcoin cash, it's seen as a cheap imitation by normies. Not saying it's the actual case, but it's basic psychological perception.

18 months is a ways away in the crypto realm but will anything rise up and overtake Ethereum's marketshare in that time? I highly fucking doubt it, not with the amount of traction ETH has, the corporations on board with it, and it living rent-free in everyone's minds. I just have a gut fucking feeling that Ethereum is going to be one of, if not the only, survivor of the blockchain bubble that we are currently in, where even obvious piece of shit scam projects are being pumped full of way too much money.
