The idea is to filter everything through monero. Let’s say you buy some BTC or LINK on an exchange with $USD. You convert it to Monero and send it to an off-exchange Monero wallet. From there you can convert to any currency you want and nobody will know it’s yours. As far as the government can prove, that money is gone from your possession, untraceable. They can’t see how much Monero is in your wallet, and they can’t see where that wallet sent Monero. You can convert it back into Bitcoin and keep it in an anonymous wallet that the government cannot possibly tie to you since you laundered it through Monero and broke the chain.
