What are the odds I pick up something useful from these youtube live forex traders, VERSUS the odds I learn something incorrect and harmful?

No one is as shady as the Chinese.
Israel actually has a fairly robust regulatory system compared to the US SEC. But China? I think the expectation that everyone is lying is built into the culture so deeply that it's basically instantiated into law.

Despite that,
I bought SMIC
which is +16.39% right now in Hong Kong

If I'm down, and made less than the minimum required to file taxes... do I need to do this for my stocks? I did trim some VTSAX for a 10 year big gain...

>Ironically this has performed a lot worse since March than if you only had 100% TQQQ
Uhhh... yeah if you start with only stock at the bottom you're going to do much, much better then having that protection.

But if you went into the dip with TQQQ and held through it, I bet that'd be a lot worst than if you rebalanced all your gains from TMF at the bottom into TQQQ.

You're supposed to rebalance.

>first talked about by the based boomer index investors
yeah... I do like those guys. Since then there's all sorts of variations and hypothetical "bests". I'm very curious about doing Dalio's all-weather portfolio with leverage similar to TQQQ:TMF.
