you mean like with the money we have now where it’s an unlimited supply? do you know that a tram ticket in 1923 Germany cost more German dollars than the number of German dollars that existed in 1922? the resources on earth are not unlimited. Our labour is not unlimited. why do you think it is ok for banks to print as much money as they want and give it to governments who buy the labour and resources from the citizens for nothing? if the money in your hand is worthless, why should I trade you anything of value for it? precious metals are limited, and that’s what makes them precious, among other things. funny how you don’t seem to care the money that pays you to work was printed for free with an endless supply, but the 21 million bitcoin limit compared to unlimited dogecoin makes perfect sense even tho these are just fictional numbers in a computer that don’t represent anything in our real world beyond how much of the worthless money you will trade for them.
