My company can be quite demanding but we just clock the hours and they're very open about us doing extra hours that they'll pay with a 25% bonus.
I noticed that some people will work for a while, then go clock in, some do 1 hour or more every day.
Then I also noticed it's all women.

They also do some weird shit like buying the stuff they broke (it happens regularly to everyone, lot of fragile stuff but we just put it in a special bin) with their own money because of guilt.
For some reason they take everything personally and forget they're being paid for doing a job well enough and that's it.
