O dont worry, that concentrator plant might still go smack dab in the middle of Wells BC, the largest collection of NIMBY's and miners on the planet. Corporate keeps telling the on site staffers different info, and its driving some to drink. One week corporate sends a news letter to the town office in Wells saying that they will need info on new road lights and planning permission to build a new road, the next their saying the whole project site will be next to Barkerville. I have no idea what the hell is going on at corporate.

It appears the community of Wells BC has decided that the Barkerville Gold Mine Project is not in the best interests of the community and almost all of the local businesses are planning a protest against the project at the next general meeting. Looks like Osisko is going to have an uphill battle with this one.
