I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, what I am trying to say is that:

1-We don't know the exact price of BCG but we will probably not see it being sold for over BCH's ATH
2-Alts are very very very likely to return to their previous normal price, a 30%-40% gain is relatively safe expectation
3-Consider this:
Everybody and their brother will try to be greedy fucks by trying to BOTH their "bitcoin gold" AND trade their BTC for alts immediately afterwards, timing the market will be incredibly risky
