I hope you understand that defi has created what is quite possibly the largest market in history which operates entirely on leverage. Forget tether, forget regular market corrections, this house of cards has gone spectacularly high and it has all been financed by leverage. Borrowing against your crypto instead of taking profits normally is leverage, because if the value of your collateral goes down, you are liquidated. This will further tank the price and cause other people, also on leverage, to be liquidated. You currently have huge amounts of buy pressure from normies and defi loans. What you don't have is sell pressure because nobody wants to sell when they can just take a loan against their crypto and cash that out instead, thinking that as BTC goes up forever, the % of their loan will be reduced against their net worth.

The music will stop, /biz/. Maybe in a week, maybe in a month. Just make sure you've taken real, physical profits and you're not all-in.

RSR is going to zero in a few months when the digital yen is available outside China. Once government backed crypto is widely available, anyone can ether use those or create digital dollar ERCs which trade at the exchange rate of the USD to the digital Yen, and bam, digital dollars.

If you want crypto which isn't controlled by the government, just buy Bitcoin. If you want crypto which is convertible into fiat, just go via the owners of the fiat currency, the government, and their CBDCs. RSR is the definition of token not needed.
