Yes when accounting for the billions spent on R&D costs, but I think the actual manufacturing costs aren’t so bad once the assembly lines are running.

I think rich blue states will soon see the same adoption curve that Norway has seen recently. Its only a matter of time. Just takes one spike in gas prices again to trigger it. Cheaper EVs are arriving in the market, and they have a compelling cost to benefit ratio for the average commuter. I personally hate my Tesla but I love being able to drive at 1/3 the price of gas per mile.
