17th Dec, ETH will be announced to be used for vaccine distribution in EU.
Early 2021, first governments announce ETH usage for their digital currency.
Late 2021, BTC gets flipped
The rest will go swiftly. A mudslide to goblintown for every other blockchain against the ETH pair

More specifically, a wartime economy. The 1918 flu pandemic, WWI and WWII. By the end of WWII the USA and USSR were the last standing and went on to global hegemony as we all know.

This is a time period our boomer overloads romanticize. Rosie the Riveter, Americans churning out tanks by the second, the Greatest Generation(tm). Now, there will be millions more unemployed, civil unrest, nigger riots and maybe even hunger.

Trump's administration will see this as an opportunity. Put Americans back to work to support the war effort, unite against a common enemy and restore American Exceptionalism. Only war isn't fought with manpower anymore liked it used to be. Now you can do with one person what you needed 100 people for back in the 40s. Depending on the COVID-19 aftermath we may see a huge increase to infantry units simply because there just that many people available and out of work, or a tightly automated and coordinated operation because of a high death toll.

Either way what comes of it will be the USA's last stand as global hedgemon. I give it 2-3 years.
