>why do I miss her
Pairbonding. You love her. I love my ex too. It’s natural and okay. The hardest but best advice I have is to block her on everything, wait at least 2 months before you even ask her for the shoes you left at her house or W/e. Allow yourself time to process and heal. Say everything you want to say to her - scream, shout, let it all out, go for a massive walk, start making eyes at every girl with a pulse. You are going to have to allow your lizardbrained pairbonding to fade... it will be hard, as it’s connected to your brain chemistry and your hormone supply was interconnected with your b*tch.

But it does get significantly better.

Consider your invested time as burned, lost, never salvageable. She has lost respect for you, there is no chance you’re getting it back.

The sad truth of women is that biologically, they will not stick around a chump. If they don’t think you’re the absolute Elvis Presley of their world, they are programmed to be thinking about swinging to another shinier tree while they’re still young and valuable. Don’t hate them for it, hate the game.

You need to cut the losses, work on yourself and learn from this. I am an artist - my ex went from doing delusional scribbled tumblr drawings to legitimately great Disney tier work under my tutelage. Months of my time, she would not have her job, she wouldn’t have her skills or social media or anything without me. And when I got depressed, she left, no doubt thinking she had someone else lined up. Well, all I can do now is learn from this - never put someone else before you. If you have spare time, by all means give it to your partner, but you are the breadwinner, the leader, the king - and thats what she wants.

Patrice O’Neil’s black Philip show is a funny podcast dealing with the contradictory and fickle nature of hoes. Recommend.

It gets better fren, just don’t allow your resentment to warp you or cause you to lash out. Revenge doesn’t help.
