I personally don't see how this metric is related to any kind of fiscally responsible activity. Sure we'll issue a ton of debt to make the problem go away, but the margins are already too tight. There's no reason to have posted Q1 losses, excluding the fact that we were already choking up on credit and entering a downturn before the gov. mandated external shock absolutely ripped everyone that's over leveraged. One more hiccup sends this straight to hell, not that I'm banking on it at all. It's completely that this market was already starting to gasp for air back in 2019 and more debt is going to keep getting more inefficient. there's very little room left without a new market or new technology.

>debt restructuring on corporate debt. But that's bullish.
you're right on both counts, but a choke up on credit will kill a ton of businesses. The fed and banks won't do it, but they're also probably going to be playing hot potato with these bad assets. Also why you should consider being short on all financials excluding payments.

maybe. I'm really not sure.
