The fact is that if they really wanted to determine if there was not to be an issue they would have frozen the stock. No buy, no sell. Made sure everyone had the assets. If hedge funds couldnt cover further and try to weather it they needed to sell asap and pay the difference or have all assets liquidated to make up the shortfall. I believe they've been covering their shorts over time, I didn't say they already covered them, but that the amount of shorts are going down. SI going from 226 down to 78 means significant amount of shorts have already been covered. The naked stock theory of how it would moon as I said before, if there are naked stocks, they have to be covered within 13 days, if it was going to be caused because of the naked short meme, it would have happened by now.

The price mooning would require stocks to be bought at in high volume in a short amount of time. If they are spreading out their covering, it's never going to moon.
