Okay so I have altered the resume with the feedback from biz - what does biz think?

So some fellow /biz/ians (most probably americans) advised me that I should get rid of the Dominos position because "its just sad and infuriating", however this was a partime job that I'm currently doing being I am studying

Also what can be improved?

I told you to use that resume builder.
Your design looks like fucking basic garbage.
>Novaresumes.com

Get a decent looking basic template with colour holy shit.

are you at a group of 8 uni or is it Newcastle or something?

>> No.10680576

You have way too much detail on your positions. An employer isn't going to read all that. Plus your second page has a lot of empty space.
Narrow it down to 2 pages, trim the previous positions details. Also get a more appealing template, use a template on overleaf if you know LaTeX or just do it on Google Docs or Libre Office. You don't want a Fisher Price CV, but adding some color details (like dark blue for headers) would be nice. And ffs delete "gaming" from your interests.

Hope you're larping fren. Who told you that, the uni themselves? Think - what economic value does it offer a business? None? So you're reliant on a government position being open, along with every other student of the same.

Here's an example. Notice how despite being full black and using a serif font, so still pretty classic, it looks more organized thanks to those lines.

And here's a more modern one I really like.
There's almost never a good reason for you to have a 2-page CV.

Well fonts help, but the space is overall more organized and again the lines help. He also went into a lot of detail, but I don't think he should have. Save that for the interview.

>>10680758
I'm not in America, this is a field thing, not a geographical one. Tech CVs have a tendency to look more like webpages, which might be a hipster thing, but it frankly looks more appealing. Also reserving the left column for dates is a smart organization helper.

>> No.10680863

I'll be kind.
The resume doesn't seem that bad. Obviously all your previous experience is unrelated bullshit but you're using colourful language to talk it up and try to bring it across into whatever this application is for.
As one anon said, colour can make it pretty, but its the meat that matters. A little flair might just make it eye catching.
And its probably been covered, but make sure contact details are on there.
Good luck

P.S
Elite degree lel

I don't think you should remove Domino's. It's where you work, and it's not like you accepted that because you're clearly sending out resumes. I'd also make sure to make it more clear you're studying, I for one really admire people who work and study. If you make it into a single page resume, it will be more obvious.
