I want to build a blockchain-based blockchain game. I don't necessarly need it to be profitable, or money-related.

I just want to create something funny using a blockchain engine as a source of unpredictable randomness or any property that a blockchain may provide.

I don't think there is enough traffic in order to do an action game, so I was thinking more about a strategy game.

So far, I had ideas few ideas such as a survival game, where players fight against zombies that spawns according to the influx of new transactions every day. The transactions may define the properties of zombies attacks.

Would you have other ideas ?

Hire a creative director and 5 juniors
And now fuck off leech

How am I leeching anything ? This is a public discussion place, everybody is free to share and not only I, but everybody, can share and use ideas here.

I don't want to hire anything, as I want to do something simple - not a business out of it - for the sake of doing something fun.

How about a Pacman type game
But instead of ghosts it's big cocks
And you chase them
Then they chase you

Google "path of exile".
Game is literally a casino masked as an arpg where you gamble your time for loot drops.
If you could get the loot drops onto a block chain and emulate the economy in path of exile you would have a very nice game

I know PoE very well. I don't see any advantage of using a blockchain in that case, a centralized server do the job very well already.

Fps Game like cs, high Skill gap.

Look into the loom network, it's your best option. EOS will give you similar performance but with much weaker dev tools and support.

How do you think the player would interact with the blockchain in a FPS game ?

Well. Honestly, I would play it, probably few minutes.
But I don't want to code it.

I gave up trying to make a blockchain game when I realized that people will just build bots to win and eventually there will be so many bots that every human that try the game will lose so you'll just end up with bot vs bot matches.

It's 100% impossible to make a blockchain game not exploitable by bots and if you do no use the blockchain for some stuff in order to make it harder for bots to auto-play the game then you might as well just make a traditional non-blockchain game.
