>Implying Vitalik knows everything about anything

Its actually easy to argue why Chainlink (LINK) should be worth much more than that.

The nodes in the Chainlink network will have to stake LINK that is either equivalent to or greater than the value managed by the smart contract.
This is the case because, if my stake is lower than the value managed by the requesting smart contract, then it could be profitable for me in some case to not behave properly.

So the smart contracts that require the highest degree of security will only use nodes that are staking enough LINK.

The fact that a lot of LINK will be staked (as insurance for delivering the oracle service) will inflate the price (and thus the market cap) of Chainlink tremendously. This is exactly the reason why we're going to get unbelievably rich.

If it's not used you don't need to stake coins and vitalik is right.

The tech isnt proven yet and the normies hasnt figured this shit out yet.

If the tech works, normies will figure this out eventually and LINK will be a multi billion market cap token.

>>11604324
Thats true, if Chainlink wont be used by anyone that would be the case.

But tokens will be staked and Chainlink will be used, if it works.

Its important to keep in mind that the market cap of LINK != the value of the Chainlink company

About 50k tokens

I wont sell until I see Chainlink being adopted on a large scale and / or when the hype is at its peak.

So I dont have a price target, thats stupid. Just a continuous evaluation of the current state of the project, how much its getting used, how many normies that know of Chainlink and so on.

Right now most people do not know about LINK, its only neets and autists here at biz that knows.

Im currently at Devcon and even most people here doesnt know about Chainlink. Thats why they threw a party, to get into the minds of the developers, so they will start building smart contracts using Chainlinks.

Its incredibly hard to say, when and what will happen. How will staking affect the price? How much will get staked? There a thousand and thousands of use cases for smart contracts connected to the real world. As Sergey keep saying, end-to-end reliable agreements.

Real world events triggering highly reliable computations (smart contracts) that in turn affects the real world.
This is so much bigger than smart contracts alone, which is sort of an enclosed system for sending tokens back and forth (literally).

This turned out to be a long post. But you can be absolutely certain that LINK will be overpriced compared to its current value at multiple points in time. Maybe its overpriced right now compared to its current value?

So its basically a bet against the market. I'll hold even though LINK might be overpriced because I dont wanna get fucked by swing trading. Im sitting on this train until I see the world being changed by Chainlink (combined with massive amounts of hype). In essence Im waiting until adoption and the top of a hype cycle.
