- there are shills for genuinely worthless scamcoins
- there are next to no (paid) shills for genuinely worthwhile projects, as it would always be more profitable to accumulate
- there are, however, people that use this and other boards to bounce off random thoughts/ideas they get in order to test them (get owned in a discussion ==> idea was wrong)
the latter is the kind of post you need to identify, and then assess how the main idea behind it stood up against anonymous arguments. that is the great strength of an anonymous board: the idea stands for itself - you get information by putting stuff out there and objectively analyzing the reactions to it. sometimes all reactions are retarded and you test again later. sometimes you get new takes on the issue.
my point being: don't take anything for granted (as you have already identified) but use this board to bounce off ideas.

There is a project that it's fudded and shilled organically. Most of the fudders are just holders that want to test how solid is the project in question. When the only reliable fud is that it will take some time to grow and it might not work in the long term they just keep holding and spouting memes and the catalog always has one thread about the project 24/7 bear or bull it doesn't matter
On the other hand you have other projects that aren't even present in the catalog and suddenly get like 10 threads, lol moon, accumulate, why didn't you invest in X, etc.
