reminder edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I am genuinely thinking about just buying QQQ/SPY with my $1k a month additions, been investing for just under a year so I currently have around $10k split 50/50~ between SSO and QLD. They certainly are the much better idea on low volatility bull markets, but we areup and down enough right now it may be right to start lowering my leverage by buying 1x ETFs.

Im not selling though, dont want to deal with the taxes stuff and my time horizon is about 15~ years until retirement, I can wait.

Do you do any TA with the ichi cloud? The strategy might be to buy 2x ETFs when everything points bullish, and 1x ETFs when we are looking bearish. DCA into everything no matter what, keep adding principal, but leverage up and down as the markets look sketchy or ideal.

Idiot, we did this to ourselfs. We let these fucking (((elites))) dupe us into debt, just so they could consolidate wealth into their own hands like in 2008. Free money? golden bullrun? there are no such things. The economy nowadays is just a never ending stream of gov:t micromanagements. Capitalism? No, were are an oligarchy you bitch. There is no free market. And because of this the economy is hugely inefficient, which is revealed at moments like this. Meanwhile we get robbed of our earnings to fuel and endless administrative machine that gives us a penny for the dollar. No man, we did this. We let the state grow, we embraced economic stimulus from big brother, we did nothing when they helped the banks rob us....

We are fools

Individuals are automatically corrupt by their own lust, wills and beliefs from the moment they step into office, never able to completely mirror the will of the people.

>And a constant drive towards accumulation naturally creates a society and government designed towards that purposes.
Oligarchy is ineffective though, the actors in a oligarchic system rely on using the state to gain an advantage (subsidies etc). Under free market conditions these actors would fail horribly (which is also why it is in their interest to maintain the oligarchy). Instead of investing and improving they use political tools to gain market shares. Economically that is not good at all, since it leads to stagnation.

I might have missunderstood you though, maybe you are saying that it is postivie for the oligarks and their accumulation? it surely is, but that is at the cost of society at large.

That's not necessarily true, large economies of scale and market power can preserve many businesses regardless of the system of government. While they might not be on top forever, they usually don't fail too easily.

While certainly it's the case that oligarchs will give themselves special privileges this is restricted to the extent there is rule by the whole class of capitalists themselves. The more there is class versus personal rule, the more you see capital friendly policies as a whole versus policies designed to benefit a few private individuals. Rule by wealth can take on either form, rule of the few most rich, or the rule of the upper class as a whole.

After 20 years of free money, interest rates and the value of the dollar are being reset to more historically normal ranges. This is, and will continue to, deflate equity values in dollar terms.

What remains to be seen is how interest rates resetting affect the trillions of dollars in corporate and private debt.

If default rates rise on junk bonds and auto loans while banks are upside down on the yield curve, then things could get really bad.
