The pajeets in this thread are tilt worthy.

Companies behind CHX and QNT won't have the kind of parabolic growth that ETH has had.

You need a token, or platform is unique to the space and that can drive mass adoption.

You're looking at something like NKN or HOT. That's it.

This, the reason we know this to be true is that ETH is Turing Complete, only limited by transaction gas and some constant operation counts. Any other one of these shitcoin can be implemented in either BTC or ETH, period. Name one and try to explain why, I'll wait. Please learn something about low level software engineering and emulator and runtime environment design, otherwise you won't get what I'm talking about

This is software not fucking business investments, so why is /biz/ the crypto section of 4chan? It should be /sci/

That's why the discource on crypto here is so fucking retarded and half the people here don't understand why things like BCash are irrelevant since you can't scale linearly longterm and need segwit + LN? No shit anyone who has a brain knows this

God I'm pissed this place is so stupid, unfortunately it takes up a literal large portion of cryptocurrency discussion online. It's sizeable, at least a few percent. And it's retards, fucking morons who don't know shit

I think the next big leap like Bitcoin and then Ethereum was, will be meta-blockchains that actually facilitate communication and cooperation between several other blockchains. This has the potential to both solve scaling issues because the workload can be distributed among those other chains, and user friendliness/compatibility issues because it will no longer be needed for developers or users to stay in one chain only, instead as long as you have access to the network of chains, you can use any dapp and token on any of those blockchains seamlessly.

Various projects are working on this already, the big question is which will be successful. It's too early to tell. But it might be worth it to simply invest in all of them, as the ones that make it will likely more than make up for the losses of those that don't. Some examples of projects that has these kind of goals are Polkadot, Cosmos, Chainlink, and probably many others that I don't know of.

Sharded chains such as Ethereum "2.0" could also accomplish the same thing, as long as it has the potential to connect to other blockchains outside its own shards, f.ex. with atomic swaps. But as they are not originally meant for this, they would be even more reliant on becoming the top blockchain themselves, because they need the network effect to be really useful.

If it's not inflationary it is deflationary (while the same amount of coins exist, some are hoarded and others are lost in cold wallets) and any deflationary currency is non viable. Look at any coin that exists today, would you buy a sandwich with it when the value is possibly +10% tomorrow? If we're pretending that any of this will be a functioning currency it has to be under constant, but controlled, inflation. Just like fiat.

Fudders are basically low IQ Tier kind of people. They never read something bigger than 3 pages. All the information they get are contained in simple and short posts.

They are simple not smart enough to read a medium article about the possibilities and details of Bitcoin. They never read a patent and don't understand Bitcoin at all. Because of this, they can't participate in discussion about Bitcoin.

All they can do is ad hominem attacks. I explain it for the low IQ people. An ad hominem argument isnt really an argument, but an attack on a person, to avoid the subject.

They don't know, that Bitcoin never changed and that the economics were clear from day one.
Still, they fud, cause the truth is, they want to get spoonfeeded by higher IQ Tier people.

> Bitcoin is about miners paying money to verify transactions to earn more money than they spent.
This way, there is competition.
This leads to innovation.
They invest to strengthen their market share.
It would be nonsense to attack the network because they would loose their immens investment.

> Miners wants to process as much data as possible because every bit is money for them. They will push for the highest possible blocksize and compete with other miners to be faster, to earn more.
All this secures the network more and more.

>This is Bitcoin and it always was like this.

A "home node" isn't adding any more security to the network. They are bullshit propaganda instruments.

But this is only the backend.
The frontend is beeing build by everyone.
> There are no limits, every problem can be solved with Bitcoin.

But if you take away the miners, all what is left is a network which is based on the rich elite (proof of stake) doing nothing to get even richer

This "beta test" is going to be the best platform or one of the best for the next 3 years, longer time than ETH exist. Look i'm ETH fan myself but i don't like the "muh ETH is already big just sit and wait 3-5 years before it can scale properly because no other project has a chance". The recent facebook acquisition kinda scare me, Chainspace was ETH 2.0 potential competitor and if FB took that path it means they're not going to wait for ETH to be fully ready, this could be the general consensus in top corporation atm.

Don't treat next gen platforms ׁ(Zilliqa,Dfinity,Thunder) as a short term play in the crypto space, always be open for the possibility.
