I keep all my link on a paper wallet in case binance fucks up and gets hacked.

>> No.15006023

i keep 80% of my link on a metamask wallet, 10% on binance, 10% on coinbase
i would rather buy more LINK than buy a hardware wallet

I keep all my crypto on Binance/other exchanges desu senpai, except shitcoins that are only listed on DEXs

So long as you use 2FA and a dedicated email and aren't a shitbrain, you'll be fine. Most attacks use social engineering and phishing techniques, plus my stack's not worth the trouble honestly

Also pray nightly to god to protect my internet money, pic related is god guiding a long haired tranny to the light

Market sell while Link is above $1 and buy TRV.

>>15005176
Never keep it on Binance.

Just send a minimum link amount first to your wallet. Afterwards send in batches.

>>15006137
If you have Link on Binance it's all in 4 large wallets. If those get hacked you are fucked, regarding your own security measurements. Yes CZ will do what he can (by selling BNB tokens for example). But you don't know if he can use that for compensating the hack.

Whats wrong with binance? I mean no one should be keeping large sums on any exchange but binance is too reputable right now to pull a fast one, not to mention if they are starting a dex they have customers best intentions since they care about individuals security by promoting their dex

How do I transfer my LINKs from one hard-wallet to another? Do I need to plug them both in?

>Whats wrong with binance?
What if binance gets hit with a legal order forcing them to pause withdrawals for some reason? What if their wallets get hacked and binance can't afford to foot the bill themselves? Binance could have entirely good intentions and still lose your coins.

I never hold a coin for more than two weeks (Let alone Link, might buy and swing trade for some 10% ROI if it keeps on falling though), except shitcoins, and as I said I keep those on a USB wallet

Also, funds are safu, always

So what's the recommended ETH+tokens desktop wallet?
I'm trying to install Mist right now but first impression is utter shit.

>> No.15007296

>>15007143
Mist is deprecated. Just use metamask connected to a ledger. Or just metamask without the ledger, but back up your seed phrase.

>> No.15007418

Metamask seems just autistic.
>try to import a wallet
>import your secret phrase
I want to import a private key, not a phrase. Why doesn't it have that option?
>ok, try to create a new wallet
>great, now click these pretty buttons in the right order to make sure you remember your super secret phrase!
What is this, fucking kindergarten?

Same, though I don't trust Binance and keep my stuff on Coinbase (CZ's had so many blatant scams like ONE that I wouldn't find it out of character for him to pull one final exit scam on burgers by confiscating their funds). I can't even remember how many USB drives I've had that have been broken, lost, or corrupted. Never actually heard of someone logging onto a major exchange though and finding that everything is gone.

Software wallets terrify me. I have gone through a lot of computers that needed to be wiped cleaned or replaced entirely but it was never a huge deal since I always backed up everything important. Might die of a heart attack if my computer delayed in booting up properly with over $10,000 worth of crypto on it. Imagine that happening at the end of a bull run right when you think you've made it.

I have multiple duplicated paper wallets and I'm stressed out all the time

>> No.15007852

Your funds are unironically safer on Binance than on a hardware wallet. There are way more ways to lose your coins when you have control of them
