The joke is one me since I live in Europe. I have a good job but taxes are so godawfully high here and everything is so expensive. I live like a monk basically and still I'd have to save for an entire decade to buy a small house. That assumes no inflation, no increasing house prices, no additional taxes being made up over bullshit fake science.

In other words, without high risk high return gambling people here might as well be dead. Or better yet, decide to burn down society as it offers only suffering.

Deflationary coins are trash. No future. Their entire premise is 'buy this it's total garbage and the whole point is to lose money when no one uses it'. A clever scam but not even poojeets are falling for it.

Most of these premises are flawed like LINK and no one will ever buy what speculators drive up. Crypto exchange tokens are an exception, these things don't have a lot of use cases but buying something because people will use it as money is dumber.
Money changes hands fast for a reason, it's spent and not held. Deflationaries are already to sneak into major crypto's design. Even coins with low volume destroy their supply, they just need to keep people using long enough. Greed takes care of the rest.

Half of those spend over 50% of their income on rent), 30% of metropolis city jobs (where most jobs are created) pay hardship wages (not enough to move out with) and 32% pay livable wages (basically poverty) which leaves 38% that are decent (I say decent because you also have to take into consideration the toxicity of work culture. Also, some jobs ONLY pay livable or up BECAUSE of the hours put in. For instance, the average american works 47 hours a week. 49% work 50 hours or more a week. Both of which inflate the wage stats into looking better than it actually is), etc.
