Right now is your absolute last chance to stock up on ETH. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. 2017 run is nothing like the 2020 bull run. ETH has always generally followed BTC in price but in this last bear market it's been going lower, hitting 0.017 sats. Now at 0.02 sats and at this price, it's an absolute steal. Staking is coming this December-January, by then normies will see it as free money and start buying it up. 30+ million in staking & 30+ million in DAI, people will never panic sell again. Things are looking too good. Asuka prophecy doesn't need to be 100% accurate, but it WILL be at least a 1.5 trillion mcap and BTC will likely have 35-45% dominance. ETH will be worth $2.5-5k by then (that's conservative). And then there's ETH 2. This is looking way too good. Things are about to explode, can you feel it? ETH will forever be king.
That is all.

Not going to happen. I'm a cryptofag but you think normies will buy 32ETH to stake it just for a measily profit of 2-3% per year? You'd be better off buying some municipal bonds.

Says the retard that just believes what the video said and not go straight to the source.
>Ethereum 2.0 validators can expect to earn from 4.6% to 10.3% as rewards for staking on an annual basis, a senior ConsenSys exec says.
>This 10.4 percent target return for validators is unlikely to change even with only one-sixteenth of the shards originally envisioned for the network. However, “net issuance” (Myers’s term), which takes account of hardware costs, will likely have to be updated.

At launch, validators can expect to receive 5.60 percent of their stake in rewards. If they require a higher grade of hardware to run Ethereum 2.0 software, and there are only 64 shards, returns are likely to fall in value.
Also, play with this calculator a bit. If you account for hardware costs, you aren't really making shit.

But if someone has 215 ETH and the hardware costs do not increase, they can then reach 4% interest.
However I don't see how this would make ETH's price go up.
Staking would limit the amount of ETH, but a higher amount of ETH used for staking also decreases the return.
I don't see why ETH needs to have a high value and how ETH 2.0 could increase its price.
The only reason to buy ETH is to run smart contracts, but it should be a lot cheaper than ETH 1.0 because of sharding.
For a customer paying 0.0001 ETH (10k/ETH) or 0.01 ETH (100$/ETH) does not make a difference.
Can someone explain this to me ?
