If you're smart about it you won't ever have to pay a single cent in tax.
Use Binance for trading, they won't report you to the IRS.
You can still use Coinbase for fiat on ramps but immediately send it to other wallets and if they ever asked just pretend that you used it as cash for a purchase online.
If you make some good but small gains, then wire only small amounts USD at a time so your bank account doesn't get flagged, or preferably find someone IRL to trade paper USD for your crypto.
If you make it to the point where you can buy a house with crypto gains, get citizenship in a tax haven.
