I was wondering this the other day about how people would handle life after 'making it', look at how some lottery winners turn out, I dont really have a lot of friends, but plenty of family that would probably want a cut, and imagine the drama with strangers or new friends, picture rocking up to a party in a lambo or something, some coke head gate crashers or friends of friends would probably see your beta ass and rob you blind, if not they'd see and easy target and try to manipulate you.

I think the solution is a very small and selective social circle, basically only make friends with rich people, I dunno start hanging out at horse racing events or yacht cluns or something.

My current plan is to just try to meet as many people as I can and hope that at least some of them will be of an alright temperament and not trapped in their mental prisons.

This thread is a great reminder to everyone that before you make it, while you make it, and after you make it just keep that shit completely to yourself. don't talk about crypto with your friends or family unless they ask you something about it. Never tell anyone how much money you have or made. It's common to not discuss these types of things at all in general and would be viewed as rude to even bring up at all. For example I was taught by my parents to not ask people how much money they make, no different for crypto. I mean are you really better off now after informing a friend or family member that your networth is 100x more than theirs? It accomplishes nothing. I definitely made this mistake, 90% of the people i know know me as the bitcoin guy. wish i hadn't even told my family. most of them do know i rekt myself basically back to square 1 in 2018 though so the universe is giving me another chance to make it again and not be a nigger this time about talking about money all the time.

If it's really that bad where your at now like everyone knows your situation 100% maybe move somewhere new and take on some cool hobbies and take them seriously. or you can have no social life, It's really easy to revert to hermit life once you've made it. Not sure i recommend that as a long term solution though.

Just spend less time around them, clean up your act, be reserved but attentive when you visit with them. I haven't made it yet but have found unusual success in my career. Without volunteering how much I make (I just say I work a lot) and without buying flashy stuff, my family has adjusted to treating me with more respect, saying I look good in my clearance rack clothes, thanking me for my time when I help them etc. You just have to act like you have no ego and other people will be very level with you.
