I feel like there needs to be some sort of catalyst for the price of BAT to start increasing and at this point I just don't know what it's going to be. Seems like the price is completely irrelevant to how productive Brave has been. Price of BAT is completely detached from Brave at this point which doesn't make any sense

team needs to shift the focus on making BAT useful and convincing people that BAT is more than some useless giveaway chuck-e-cheese ERC20 token. Right now all of crypto is vaporware funny money. It really has no use at all other than shuffling beans around. Ethereum is kind of working when it comes to needing ETH for gas, but even that is easily debatable. Staking and everything else is also a scam because nobody is really using networks like tezos at all so people are paying to secure nothing. It will be probably 5-10 years before we see a modicum of actual real crypto utility other than gambling apps or bean shuffling. BAT is a little different because its value comes from ad purchases rather than gas fees or anything like that. The ad purchases are pretty low right now, but brave is a nearly 4 year old software product thats doing well right now. As the user base grows and advertisers spend more money there will be a demand for it that will be much stronger than any crypto coin. Mainstream money is a lot better than degen crypto ancap money. Most people outside of crypto laugh at how crazy bitcoiners sound when they say "store of value"
