Depends on your risk tolerance, and if you’re smart, the amount you’re trading. In general, I’d say about 10% (or whatever your personal risk threshold is, but be realistic, a stop loss of 1% is gonna hurt more than help you.) If you’re trading your last grand, you shouldn’t be trading, but I’d place stop loss on 15, but that’s only because I’d be willing to loose $150 of my hypothetical $1,000.

Ive been looking at the volumes of the different coins.
Only the top 5 coins have a somewhat decent volume.
The market is as dead as this board.
Anyways ill set my stop loss at 10%

Funny you should say that.
I kind of am down to my last grand.
1.5k to be exact.
I just wanted to reach 0.2 btc.
But it looks like im wasting my time and money, literarily.

Then dont invest. Its still a bit of a gamble and since you only have 1.5k I can asume you're not that great with money. Get a healthy saving going before go throw it into the wind. 20% of saving is a healthy investment and since that puts you at $300, thats not worth it

Sell and cut your losses right now. As someone who makes a living day trading, I can tell you that pick really good companies that have gone through bad dumps. Put crazy amount of options on it, then sell at x2 or x3 or x4. Is that simple.
I've been making a killing.
