People want to live in the city. Get property with a good location and you will ride out the storm. Get a house in a shitty rural area and you will never make profit on a sale.

Mortgage. I had 10% saved up. In denmark you can get very low interest mortgages on the "inner" 80%. Right now I have a loan with 1 year fixed interest rate. Interest rate + all other costs = 0,48% interest a year.

You can get a 30 year fixed rate @1,5%.
