A similar thing that I've not seen discussed before is voice, and how much it impacts attractiveness. I have a very average, somewhat weak voice normally. One summer I had a sinus infection which caused my voice to get significantly deeper and more hoarse. I was blown away by how much more positively girls in responded to me, for example getting numbers at the bar - something that simply never happened before. I even noticed my coworkers respected me more during this period.

Eventually the infection went away, and I tried everything I could think of, from smoking cigars to yelling to try and get my voice that way again, but nothing worked.
