Assuming people are back to work in China (they are not), you have to realize that their level of response was absolutely draconian. We are already at the same early China levels of infection stats in other countries, and they aren’t doing anything even remotely close. This could mean one of two things
1) it was a nothing burger, and China decimated their supply chains for no reason just to fuck with people
2) shit is just about to go down REALLY HARD in these countries. This will either create country-wide epidemics and panics OR they will have to implement the same level of quarantines. Either result here will decimate their economies as well

Now, considering these countries are some of the largest economies in the world, like Japan, Korea, Italy, France and Germany, this will have an effect on the global economy. For all intents and purposes the recent market dump was just a response to China.
For the sake of the argument I didn’t even include the States’ infection statistics because they are being retarded right now and aren’t testing anyone.
