17808915 No.17808915 [Reply] [Original]

You should be selling immediately. We have broken the 200 MA on the weekly. NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT SHORT. The exchanges always try to use shorts as fuel to stop you out then dump.

However, sell your crypto holdings immediately. Any time the price breaks the 200 MA on the weekly chart of ANY ASSET IN EXISTENCE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, a MULTI MONTH (at minimum) bear trend starts. If you sell now, you're lucky enough to be selling near the beginning of the trend since we're still near the MA (and yes, we will close below the MA, since most market makers on big exchanges are not operating on the weekend and won't have fuel to push it up). You may have a mere day, if not mere hours, left before the price plunges again. Don't make the mistake.

If you have large holdings, this may be unironically your last chance to escape with some liquidity. Books are already thinning out. If we go anywhere sub 2K, you will not, I REPEAT, will not be able to sell your holdings if you have a significant amount (1-5M+) and suffer massive slippage.

Your holdings, if you have a significant amount, will basically be worthless. This is your last chance to escape...unironically. I'm doing you a favour.

If you choose not to listen, don't be crying next week. It's not going to get any better.

"They said this about bitcoin year after year after year". I've been through many bubbles. This kind of thinking works before the bubble pop, not after a bubble pop. There's no recovery after a bubble pop, and the bubble popped December 2017.

Bitcoin will not survive at 1K. It will be too late to sell your holdings then since the crash will flash and be massive given the huge number of wallets that have thousands of BTC. This next week will be the most brutal week in crypto history. You haven't seen anything yet.

Again though, however, DO NOT SHORT. Instead, SELL YOUR HOLDINGS ON SPOT, and escape with the money you have. Otherwise, you will regret this mistake your entire life.

There are no shorts left in this market. This is what you don't understand. There aren't many longs either. The margin situation has depleted. I've been following this fucking market for seven years. Bitmex had 9M worth of bids left. If they didn't shut down, we'd be at 0. Don't short. Just sell your holdings on exchanges to USD. >>17808992

It may not die, but it will at the very minimum start a multi month if not a multi year bear market very soon. Given many of you are young, I don't want you to be holding worthless bags. If you have a large amount of holdings, they may literally become worthless and never recover.

Many big market makers who create the spreads on large exchanges like Bitmex were either liquidated or lost a majority of their holdings. It’ll take a long time for them to recover and it’s now too late since the price is about to close below the most reliable trendline average to date in all markets.

Now, because liquidity is drying up, the lower the price goes, the less of a chance you’ll have to sell at whatever the current price is, since the total amount of bids is much less than the supply currently. For example, the ENTIRE bid side of Coinbase right now is only 12 M. In other words, if someone sold 12 M right now on Coinbase, the price would flick to 0. This has never happened before.

BTC broke the 200MA back in 2015. It was the last long leg down before the rally leading up to 2017. Obviously things are different now, but it's all because BTC has become highly correlated with equities. If equities recover, so will BTC. If equities drop another 30% (possible, but I don't personally expect it), BTC will take an extended vacation in the 2-3k range. If you're worried, don't sell: open a short position (just get some simpleton puts) on equities to hedge your risk. If the markets do crash, the massive returns on those puts will easily outweigh your crypto losses. And if markets bounce back, the premium loss will be covered by crypto gains. Selling reactively is just stupid.

Retail investors have not been driving it. Derivatives have been driving it. Retail interest dried up years ago.

But now, given the recent events on bitmex where huge market makers were unexpectedly liquidated, the scheme is up. If there's no liquidity, no new market makers have an incentive to join, resulting in a negative feedback loop where noone wins. There's no organic demand so this shit is toast unironically. The process will probably take years though but you can say for certain that this has topped atleast for a few months if not years if not forever.

And this is the trad market with billions of dollars of liquidity where it is easy to recover since the entire global sphere relies on it. Bitcoin will likely drop 1.5-2X more than that, so in the worst case about 80% giving a price of 1-1.5K. This is why investing can be hard for some because they are tricked by idiots like you into thinking their only option is taking a loss. If you don't have faith in crypto you should have never put any considerable amount of money into it. Those of us that know crypto is inevitable could care less about any of the fluctuations. Those of us who are able to look at the bigger picture understand that crypto isn't even in its infancy stage yet.

Your bullshit sentiment is exactly what will get you crushed. You will all go long on monday expecting buttcorn to bounce back, then the whales will liquidate you on the spot.

Also if you think coronachan is the reason for the crash you are clueless, it's just the chink cabal of miners using this bearish event to win the second hashwar and end up being the only miners left being profitable on the market before the halving. They alrdy have 65% of the hash power, chinks can manipulate it as much as they need to. With 4c/Kwt and the new machines they can go as low as they want to oust dumb amerimutts and slavs.

Even i who never owned any shitcoin can understand this basic shit. Can't wait to see the massive red candle of tomorrow going up your asses kek. 3k btc by eod, screencap this faggots.

> BTC going down.
It's all going down frens.
There will be an inflection point when BTC is considered a safe haven asset and money will come in. But that time may be several weeks/months away. The central banks haven't even started bailouts yet. If this keeps going the way it's going the Fed is going to have to bail out the bond market. DB is going to have to be bailed out by the ECB. When all those things settle we may go BTC bull. But until then my hypothesis states that cash is king and people will be hoarding cash.
