Another 96 fag here. I spent years and tens of thousands of dollars on flight certifications and now that I'm finally a flight instructor and can make $ this shit happens, maybe great depression 2.0. Fuck this rigged bullshit, I did everything I was fucking told and jumped though all the crazy hoops of FAA certification and I'll still be broke for years and paying interest on loans cause who knows how long this fucking thing will last. Fucking boomers crashing this plane, with no survivors all I wanted to do was fly jets for a living
Also sexy digits btw

True, but as an AB fag I need to do something to get into the job market. Getting at least one designation plus a few certifications should be a good start.
If the defence industry will take me, I'd gladly dive into it. A few of my ideas are related to defense tech, all I need are the resources for R&D. The issue is that they're not gonna hand that stuff over to a fresh grad with no engineering credentials lol
Thanks for the pointers though, I'll try and apply them as much as I can. Maybe commission for the extra flex too.

This is correct. I have family in Canada, one of whom came here to get her cancer treated rather than wait 8 months for a first visit and probably metastasize and die.

Graduated during great recession with useless liberal arts degree. Farted around and eventually went to medical school. Just finishing up and matched into a medical residency. I have a guaranteed job, but its gonna be a hellscape and I might die lol. I'm not the healthiest.

Hopefully things worked out better for you the oil boom was a once in a lifetime money making opportunity. I fucked up after highschool and wasted time working shitty jobs instead of education or trades because I read too much doomer shit about the economy crashing and graduated not finding jobs.

>>17928535
Yeah it's going to get bad, the company I work for made it out of the 2015 crash without layoffs and I was lucky to even get this job, I work with guys who graduated into the boom and have like 450k houses, 70k trucks, 50k RV's and shit and live paycheck to paycheck, they needed their service bonus to even apply for their mortgage and with the economy now we won't even get a bonus because most of the work is done during the summer

to add, I've made the same mistake with a girl that was special to me. I was young and retarded and did not realize what it meant to find/have a quality person in your life. We drifted apart after being very close. I let myself slide after that and now I'm a turbo autist that hasn't been around humans in a social capacity for close to a decade. I also get physically ill when I look at the mega thots on dating sites and realized what I lost. AAAAAAAAAA

governments shouldn't bail out big businesses just because they are big. If a large company fails, it creates a vacuum that will inevitably be filled by another upstart. This is the natural order of capitalism. When the government bails out a failing corp it's disrupting the natural order.

Class of 2015, regret going to college and getting an undergrad degree. Also regretting the decision to do an accelerated grad program. Should have done something else and not listed to my parents.

Oil and gas lawyer here. Got laid off a few weeks ago cause of prices. Started lying on my resume and now I have interviews lined up and a possible offer as soon as next week. Don’t play fair, especially in this economy. If you can get away with lying to get a job, do it. You don’t want to be unemployed during this upcoming Great Depression.
